Aerial Hoop

This class uses an aerial lyra, also known as an aerial hoop, to perform acrobatic shapes and sequences in the air. Students will learn proper form and technique while building strength, flexibility, and endurance to ensure a safe experience. We will progress through spins, inversions, rolls and drops on the apparatus to create dynamic choreography!

Classical ballet is characterised by a standard vocabulary of steps, poses, and graceful movements including pointed feet, rising, jumping, stretching and spinning. Ballet is a disciplined class designed to develop correct technique.

Contemporary is a blend of ballet and modern dance. It builds a strong centre and combines precision leg work with fluidity of the torso. Contemporary dance encourages self expression, natural movement and personal interpretation.

Acrobatics, or ‘acro’, is a dance style that focuses on balances, tumbling and movements that show off flexibility. Students begin each class with a floor warm-up that includes strengthening and flexibility movements specifically geared to acrobatics. Each student progresses at his or her own speed, we emphasize safety in execution .

 A class for 2/3 year old children to learn and play whilst exploring music and developing skills such as musicality, coordination and creativity

Barre

Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements

Dance Fit

Adults

 Dance fitness is a type of group exercise class that incorporates some or many forms of dance. It's an aerobic workout, divided into different tracks that provide peaks and troughs of intensity. 

Combo

Beginners

An introductory class for 4 and 5 year olds to begin working on choreography, terminology in Jazz and Ballet. this class preps students with the skills needed as they continue their dance journey

Private

Private lessons can be Solo, Duo or Trios and be in any style. Private lessons may be just for Technical Development,  local Performance or Competition/ Eisteddfods

The CCDC Performance Troupe, is a multi style class focused on Performance and Eisteddfod. additional commitment is required for travel for this class. 

Heels

Elite

Heels class is the best class to  work on your sass , fierceness while focusing on technique and lines. 

Class will cover basic jazz technique , expression and how to build your confidence in heels.

Pre Pointe

Extension of ballet for students 13 + attending Ballet classes where students prepare for their feet ankles and bodies for the requirements needed to continue their training and develop into Pointe work

Lyrical

Lyrical combines the techniques of Jazz and Classical ballet. Lyrical is a slower, melodic, and more expressive form of Jazz, often to ballad music. Dancers gain fluidity of movement, grace and control.

Pointe

Extension of ballet for students 13 + attending Ballet classes and upwards where special shoes are worn to enable ballerinas to work on the tip of their toes to appear weightless. 

Cheer

Cheerleading combines acrobatic stunting, tumbling and dancing in fast paced high energy routines. Cheerleading is a great way to improve your strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.

Techneique (IDT)

International Dance Technique is an program designed to develop plyometric agility, strength, fitness, flexibility and strong jazz/Modern technique in dancers of all ages and abilities. Skills to be worked on include but are not limited to: pirouettes, a la second turns, leaps, illusions (forward/backwards),  needles, floor work, and more. 

PBT Progressive Ballet Techneique

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students' technique by focusing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. It is an innovative program that helps students with core strength, weight placement and alignment. PBT focuses on core strength, weight placement and alignment of the body with a gradual approach of carefully designed exercises and repetitions of these exercises that trigger their muscle memory.

Everyone can sing, so why take voice/singing lessons? A vocal teacher can help you improve your voice/singing through proper breathing, posture, tone production, intonation, diction, phrasing and ear training. Our teachers will help you gain confidence and consistency in your singing. Whether you want to sing for enjoyment, school plays, or concerts we will help you reach your full potential.
